Digital data is an important piece for the development of artificial intelligence tools because it allows the tools to become "accurate and more humanlike," The New York Times reports. Fast-learning AI tools are expected to lead to a shortage of high-quality digital data by 2026, making AI systems more likely to use data the AI system created itself.
