Privacy Pros Must Lead: Ensure Your Agents Work Only for You

Agents can dramatically improve the future of work, but only if they are deployed responsibly and trusted. Agents have created a new trust paradox: The more you work with agents as a customer, the better they become by learning workflows, correcting outputs and refining decisions. But not all data use is equal, and not all agents are built the same way. Consumer-grade LLMs, shadow AI and ungoverned agent deployments are already inside most enterprises, and if privacy professionals do not provide a responsible path forward, employees and customers will find their own.

This session examines what it means to build and procure trustworthy enterprise-grade agents: how to distinguish legitimate service improvement from data practices that expose proprietary information, what architectural commitments like zero data retention actually guarantee, and what new regulatory guidance and evolving laws require. The goal is practical: help privacy professionals become enablers of responsible AI adoption before ungoverned alternatives fill the vacuum.

The question is not whether your employees will use agents, it is whether the ones they use are working for you.

What you will learn:

  • Receive a framework for evaluating and approving responsible agent deployments.
  • Understand the difference between enterprise-grade services and ungoverned tools, and how to evaluate the claims vendors make about them.
  • Get a clear picture of what is coming and why getting enterprise AI governance right now is the best preparation.
