Policymakers, regulators, institutions and companies of many shapes and sizes are increasingly considering and having to implement data and technological architecture and governance that is “sovereign.” But, sovereignty, however defined and constructed, is not straightforward. It often requires significant effort and investment in legal, governance and technological controls and practices. This session brings together leaders to explore how sovereign solutions are being designed and deployed to address real-world challenges, such as data localization, cross-border transfers and the intersection of AI and cybersecurity.

What you will learn:

  • Developments and trends from around the world and within leading companies that are informing the trajectory of digital sovereignty.
  • Some of the technological, policy and legal controls and practices that are being deployed to assert greater tech, digital and data sovereignty.
  • Use cases, challenges, opportunities and practical tips and examples on how companies have deployed sovereign solutions.
