Agentic AI Design and Governance — A Practical Workshop for Privacy Professionals
Wednesday, 7 Oct.
13:30 - 17:00 PDT
Intermediate level
Artificial intelligence is becoming an autonomous actor with direct implications for how your company collects, processes and protects data. This immersive workshop gives privacy and data professionals a grounded, practical understanding of agentic AI: how it works, how it is designed and what it means for your data governance responsibilities right now. You will not just hear about it, you will see it in action and build it yourself. Through a live demonstration and a guided environment, participants will design an agent while working through the critical questions your function needs to own: approved data sources, confidence thresholds, human review points, auditability, exception handling and the liability shifts that come with an agentic world. If you are responsible for keeping data use ethical, compliant and defensible as your company advances through AI adoption, this is where that work begins.
What you will learn:
- A working understanding of agentic AI that enables participants to engage meaningfully in policy and governance development, regardless of technical background.
- Practical criteria for defining the boundaries of safe AI experimentation and autonomous action within an organizational context.
- The tools and framing to update existing frameworks and fulfill oversight duties as agentic AI slowly becomes more supplemental to organizational operations.
Additional registration fee required.
