  • Participant guide — print copy to be picked up on-site.

What you will take away:

  • Instruction based on the body of knowledge for the globally recognized Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe credential.
  • Sought-after skills you can start applying right away.
  • Knowledge you need to advance your career.
  • Insight from world-class faculty working in the privacy field.
  • A head start on exam preparation if you decide to pursue certification.

What to expect:

The IAPP’s European Data Protection training builds a solid understanding of European data protection laws, regulations and policy frameworks, including an in-depth focus on the GDPR. Boost your understanding of the legal requirements for processing personal data and transferring personal data internationally. The course offers an opportunity to learn about privacy concepts that are also integral to the CIPP/E exam. It is not purely a "test prep" course, nor does taking the training guarantee you will pass your exam.

It is appropriate for professionals who plan to certify and those who want to deepen their privacy knowledge.

Give yourself the best chance of passing the exam by studying for at least 30 hours and reviewing the additional free resources found here.
