Design is a crucial aspect of the privacy discussion. Policymakers and regulators are aware of the importance of design but are ill-equipped to approach guidance from a human-centered perspective. As a result, companies often struggle with compliance strategy, and outcomes are inconsistent at best.
This web conference explores the importance of human centered design in regulating privacy, dark patterns and how to regulate them, and steps for bringing “design awareness” into policymaking.
