Ten U.S. states have either adopted or fully passed comprehensive privacy legislation, including five states joining the fray this year. Many more states have privacy laws in the works. Privacy professionals have a lot to keep track of as enforcement dates loom and the state of U.S. state privacy law becomes more complex. In this LinkedIn Live, the IAPP's Joe Jones, Anokhy Desai, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, Joe Duball and Amy Olivero discuss an overview of the state privacy landscape, the trends shaping it and what different state legislatures have in store for U.S. consumer privacy in 2023 and beyond. Watch the full recording on LinkedIn.

The IAPP additionally hosts a US State Privacy Legislation Tracker , which tracks comprehensive US state privacy bills to help our members stay informed of the changing state privacy landscape.
