Strategic leaders
Strategic leaders establish the organization's vision, priorities and risk appetite for AI and are the ultimate point of accountability. They ensure AI adoption advances business objectives, aligns with organizational values and receives appropriate investment and oversight across the enterprise.
Chief executive officer
- Provides strategic leadership, including investment oversight and decision-making, to guide the adoption and governance of artificial intelligence in alignment with the company's values, mission and long-term goals.
- Acts as the public face of AI adoption.
- Ensures strategic alignment so AI supports the organization's mission, values and business goals.
- Sets tone for use of AI.
- Prioritizes responsible use.
Chief operating officer
- Ensures AI governance is embedded into AI processes across the organization.
- Manages cross-functional coordination.
- Executes and enforces AI policies, including monitoring and controls.
