Norway's data protection authority, Datatilsynet, is monitoring inquiries to Denmark's DPA related to the testing of Schibsted Media Group's consent solution. The mechanism could leave users to decide between agreeing to share their personal data or paying a fee for an advertisement-free experience. Datatilsynet is waiting to issue an opinion on Schibsted's solution until the European Data Protection Board issues a decision on Meta's pay-or-consent model.
