An anonymous source leaked information for more than 30,000 Credit Suisse accounts that totaled more than 80 billion GBP, the Guardian reports. The leak contained client information from the 1940s through the 2010s and included world heads of state, intelligence officials and suspected criminals. The information was first given to German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung and was shared with a consortium of 46 other news organizations that make up the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project.
