Austria’s Data Protection Authority ruled in favor of privacy advocacy group NOYB's complaints against multiple Austrian newspapers, Euractiv reports. The complaints filed in Germany are still pending, but the DPA ruled readers were entitled to provide or decline their consent to cookie paywalls.
