Cyberscoop reports on the use of algorithm disgorgement in cases by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and its potential for artificial intelligence enforcement. FTC Division of Privacy and Identity Protection acting Associate Director Ben Wiseman called algorithm disgorgement a "significant part" of the agency's AI enforcement strategy. "I think the main consideration that we are thinking through is these AI systems, these models are trained on lots and lots of consumer data." Wiseman said. "What are companies doing to protect that data?"
