G’day from a sunny but chilly Sydney.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the Data + Privacy Asia Pacific conference hosted by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. The whole day was fantastic and a great opportunity to hear from many of the regulators who had traveled from across Asia-Pacific to meet in the days before the conference. We were also thrilled to welcome more than a hundred conference attendees and iappANZ members to a drinks reception afterward, where the networking went on all night! The drinks reception was right next door to where we will be holding this year’s iappANZ Privacy Summit, "Privacy & Personalisation — Walking the Line," 3 October at Dockside, Cockle Bay Wharf, Sydney. Early-bird tickets are now on sale, and, if you are a nonmember, you’ll get an iappANZ membership for one year when you purchase a ticket. For more details, visit the website here. We’d love to see you there!

Enjoy this week’s APAC Digest,
Kate
