The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) issued its first Binding Corporate Rules (BCR) approval of 2011 to Spencer Stuart Management Consultants N.V., a global executive search firm.
The authorization was awarded under Europe’s “mutual recognition” procedure, which allows the ICO to act as lead reviewing authority when assessing a BCR application.
This latest authorization takes the total number of authorizations awarded by the ICO to nine.
