This interactive workshop will provide a quick and efficient way to start and complete a reasonable artificial intelligence impact assessment for companies and institutions. Attendees will work through two different use cases and get hands-on practice on conducting AI impact assessments and creating an assessment report. They will first dive deeply into the AI ecosystem, including an overview of an AI system’s generic architecture, assessment methodologies and the key elements of an AI impact assessment report. They will engage in dynamic group exercises using two real-world case studies — one for a small company with low to medium impact, and another for a large company with a high impact. By the end of the workshop, attendees will walk away with the tools and knowledge necessary to confidently conduct AI impact assessments.

What you will learn:

  • How to define scope for AI systems and usage.
  • The core elements of AI impact assessment report.
  • How to conduct AI impact assessment and create the report.
