IAPP Global Summit 2026: Privacy | AI governance | Cybersecurity law
WASHINGTON, DC
30 March-2 April
Terms and conditions
Registration policy: Registration fees represent the cost of a single pass per person. Sorry, no sharing passes.
Registration processing: All registrations will be processed by Stova. Because we are contracted with an external vendor, you will not be able to see your balance or payment amount when you log in to your MyIAPP portal. A valid IAPP account is required to register for this event. If you do not have an account, click here to create one. By registering for this event, you acknowledge your registration information is transferred from Stova to IAPP headquarters in the United States. The data will be held by the IAPP for the purposes of registering for this conference.
Registration fees: Registrants are responsible for any fees charged by their credit card company, bank or other payment method for this transaction, including without limitation foreign transaction fees and/or currency conversion fees. Registrants are accordingly advised to consult with their payment method provider regarding fees that may apply. These fees may appear on your credit card, bank or other payment statement, but are not charged by IAPP and will not appear on the IAPP invoice.
Cancellations: Registration fees are not refundable. Registrants can receive a full account credit by contacting us in writing prior to the end of the conference. Account credits can be used toward other IAPP conferences and products. Account credits are valid for two years.
For trainings and workshops associated with a conference, this same cancellation policy applies with notice of cancellation required prior to the end of the training or workshop.
No credits will be issued to delegates who do not check in onsite and/or do not contact IAPP as stated above, and to the extent they have not yet paid the applicable registration fees, they will remain liable for payment in full.
Transfers: Replacement of a registered delegate by a colleague from the same company or institution is allowed upon review and approval by IAPP. Contact us in writing before the first day of the conference for a registration transfer request. An executed registration form, online registration and email confirmation constitute a binding agreement between the parties.
Privacy notice: We understand you are aware of and care about your own personal privacy interests, and we take that seriously. This privacy notice describes the IAPP’s policies and practices regarding its collection and use of your personal data, and sets forth your privacy rights. We acknowledge that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will, from time to time, update this privacy notice as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us.
Unsanctioned list sales claims: We do not sell the list of attendees or sponsors attending the event to anyone at any time. You can quickly identify these types of scam emails by checking the sender’s email address — if it does not have an “iapp.org” extension, it is not from the IAPP. Should you receive unsolicited emails from people claiming to have the attendee list, you are encouraged to contact us, and we will review options to request them to cease and desist this misrepresentation.
IAPP Events app privacy notice: In association with attending one or more of our conferences, you will have the option to download the mobile app to help you navigate the conference and plan your schedule. The IAPP has engaged a cloud service provider (Cvent) to host the IAPP Events app, which will allow conference attendees to view the agenda, including any last-minute updates to sessions, speaker biographies, venue navigation and the attendee roster.
To access the app, conference attendees must download the “IAPP Events” app on their mobile device. The IAPP shares with Cvent event registrants’ contact information to allow event attendees to be authenticated when they access the event app, and the features of the mobile app which can be custom-tailored by each user. More information about Cvent’s privacy practices is available in its global privacy notice.
Conduct at IAPP events: The IAPP is dedicated to making our meetings and events safe places for all. We do not tolerate harassment of any kind. We insist that all participants at IAPP events — whether attendees, staff, speakers, exhibitors or sponsors — demonstrate respect and courtesy to all. This includes refraining from inappropriate language, comments and behavior, in person or by electronic communications (such as social media).
Anyone who has experienced improper conduct in violation of this policy is encouraged to report it immediately to IAPP event staff. IAPP staff members are trained to elevate such issues immediately. Alternate methods of reporting issues include emailing IAPP President and CEO J. Trevor Hughes, or contacting a member of the IAPP board of directors.
The IAPP reserves the right to rescind registration or attendance at any IAPP event, at any time, for violations of this policy. Unsanctioned vendor solicitations of any kind are strictly prohibited.
Photography/video: Please be aware that the IAPP will be taking photographs and video in public areas of the conference (session rooms, exhibit hall, etc.). We may use such media in marketing materials, educational products and publications. Your image and the sound of your voice may be recorded. If you are identified during the recording, or identify yourself by name, that information may be included in our materials. Recordings may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed.
Badge scanning: Exhibitors and/or sponsors at sponsored speaking sessions or in the exhibit hall may wish to scan your badge so they can contact you with more information. The IAPP uses Cvent to provide badge scanning services to exhibitors and/or sponsors who request it. By allowing an exhibitor and/or sponsor to scan your badge, you are consenting to have Cvent provide the exhibitor and/or sponsor with your contact information, and thereafter you may be contacted by the exhibitor and/or sponsor after the event.
Badge printing at registration: The IAPP uses Cvent to provide badge printing services for those attending the conference. Your information will be shared with Cvent for the purpose of printing your contact information on your name badge. A name badge is required to gain access to conference sessions and networking.
