As AI increasingly drives financial decisions — from credit and fraud to trading and reporting and more — the flow of money is becoming faster, more complex, and harder to see. This panel explores what it means to govern AI enabled financial systems in ways that preserve accountability, transparency, and trust. This includes understanding the increasingly important role of auditors included in the AI life-cycle. Given finance is already a highly regulated and controlled industry, these experts will share how financial governance is adapting with increased automation, including emerging best practices for AI in finance including the evolution of standards development and testing capabilities. The discussion will focus on practical governance challenges, emerging expectations, and the evolving role of assurance ensuring automated financial decisions remain explainable, controllable, and trustworthy.

What you will learn:

• How to apply clear accountability, transparency and control mechanisms across the AI lifecycle in finance.

• The role of auditors and assurance functions in AI-enabled workflows.

• Emerging frameworks, testing capabilities and controls that financial companies and institutions are adopting to keep automated decisions trustworthy and compliant.
