Smart glasses are the latest technology pushing the boundaries of data protection and privacy laws. Until now, most wearables, like watches or rings, were limited to collecting their owners' data and were therefore manageable from a data protection perspective. This has radically changed with the ubiquitous phenomenon of smart glasses which monitor and record the world around them. The EDPB has quickly voiced its concerns from a GDPR perspective, but many questions remain. Hear from two top regulators about their approach and their predictions and join the discussion.
