Global privacy and AI governance programs often break down at the EU-China seam, where legal requirements, enforcement expectations and business practices diverge. This interactive session gives participants a practical model for building one governance program with localized execution. Anchored in EU accountability expectations and tested against China-focused operational realities, it shows how companies and institutions can standardize governance where possible while adapting where necessary. Through live polls and three practical scenarios - AI vendor procurement, product launch approvals and cross-border incident response - attendees will work through real decision points, common failure patterns and workable solutions. Participants will leave with a cross-border operating model, a minimum evidence pack structure and concrete governance practices they can apply immediately.

What you will learn:

• Identify the core EU-China friction points in privacy, AI governance and cybersecurity operations.

• Apply a “one program, localized execution” model across regions.

• Build practical governance tools: decision ownership, minimum evidence packs and escalation paths.
