The AI Act requires each member state to identify national authorities to provide oversight of market surveillance, notifying bodies and protection of fundamental human rights. This panel brings together both appointed regulators and policy makers to discuss the approach each are taking within their jurisdiction to navigate oversight of the AI Act. These experts will share their top priorities and recommendations for effective implementation of the AI Act as well as discuss the interplay between the act and key digital regulations such as the GDPR and the Digital Markets Act. If you are a company or institution developing or deploying AI systems this is an opportunity to hear directly from those who will be enforcing the AI Act.

What you will learn:

  • Insights into national oversight strategies for implementing the AI Act and how different EU member states are approaching enforcement.
  • How the AI Act intersects with other key digital regulations and what this means for companies and institutions deploying AI systems.
