What does privacy and AI governance look like within our major telecommunications providers in the Australian and New Zealand markets?  We will hear from representatives of Telstra, Spark and One NZ on their own unique perspectives and experiences within these businesses.  We will have a chance to compare different approaches and hear how each sees challenges around resourcing, privacy culture, AI governance, regulatory and risk.  Finally, we will learn how telecommunications companies are tackling all these topics at the massive scale of such large B2C and B2B operations.

What you will learn:

  • The challenges that telecommunications providers face in relation to data privacy, security, data use and AI.
  • How telecommunications providers are addressing and managing growing concerns of fraud and scam content.
  • Ways these major providers are adapting to evolving regulatory developments in privacy and security.
