It is nothing new that companies operating in the United States must contend with a patchwork of laws and regulations surrounding AI, particularly at its intersection with privacy law and practices. However, in the past months, changing perspectives on the importance and governance of AI have impacted companies’ approaches in all sectors. Hear from representatives of the U.S. Government about the practical implications of rescinding Executive Order 14110, the “AI EO,” and the issuance of new AI policy and guidance from the White House Office of Management and Budget. An in-house expert will discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by those embedding responsible AI governance at the speed of technology. An attorney witnessing the emergence of watchdog technologies will weigh in on the means to keep corporations accountable.

What you will learn:

  • Examine the patchwork of U.S. privacy laws and their interactions with AI regulations.
  • Explore how changing perspectives on the importance of AI governance impact the real-time work of experts across different fields.
  • Learn how AI and privacy professionals are proactively navigating the shifting benefits, risks and changes in AI.
