Each year, the IAPP updates exam forms to reflect changes in the industry and retire older questions. Before we deliver updated forms to the broader public, we collect data through beta testing to verify that the new forms meet our gold standard.

About beta exams

Beta exams are not new IAPP exams. They are a new version of the exam form that we currently offer. Our exams may have a Form 1, Form 2, Form 3 and so forth. 

Beta exams are available at nearly 6,000+ computer-based testing centers around the world, or from the privacy of your home or office with remote proctoring. By taking a beta exam form, you can save up to 50% on your exam fee.

Please note: there are limited windows for beta exam testing. Beta exams must be taken during the testing window to receive the discounted rate.
