CDPO/BR: Certified Data Protection Officer/Brazil
Become a top candidate for data protection officer positions with the CDPO/BR certification. It demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the General Law for the Protection of Personal Data and principles for managing data protection programs. Note: All components of this certification are in Brazilian Portuguese. This designation cannot be obtained unless you speak Brazilian Portuguese.
To obtain the IAPP CDPO/BR certification, you must pass two exams:
CIPM exam
The CIPM exam assesses skills for establishing, maintaining and managing a privacy program across all stages of its operational life cycle. If you already hold this designation, you are halfway to completing the CDPO requirements.
LGPD exam
Developed by Brazilian experts in data protection, The LGPD exam assesses candidates’ understanding of data protection law and practice in Brazil. It is available exclusively through our IAPP Official Training Partners.
