The U.S. House allegedly plans to package an updated version of the legislation to ban TikTok with aid for Israel, Taiwan and Ukraine, The New York Times reports. Meanwhile, digital rights groups claim a ban on TikTok would be internet censorship for the 170 million Americans who use the platform, ending the concept of the U.S. "open internet."
