Twitter is launching a Tor-specific version of its service, enhancing privacy protection options, The Verge reports. The Tor network will encrypt and reroute web traffic through certain servers to conceal users’ identifying information. Software engineer Alec Muffett said the move “is a practical step which demonstrates that the platform is providing explicitly for the needs of people who use Tor.”
