TikTok stands by its user tracking practices through third-party websites without consumer consent, MediaPost reports. In its answers to a privacy complaint filed to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, TikTok claimed individuals consented to advertisement tracking by visiting websites that have the TikTok pixel tool installed, including Hulu and Etsy.
