Meta plans to offer EU users a reduced fee, from 9.99 euros down to 5.99, for its "pay or OK" subscription model, Reuters reports. The new proposal was driven in part by targeted advertising complaints made under the Digital Markets Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation in regard to perceptions of a cost being placed on data protection.
