The U.S. Internal Revenue Service awarded a contract upward of $70 million to Brillient that would implement machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies to its analytics operations, NextGov reports. The technology is called Robotic Process Automation, which would utilize scalable automated technology into the agency’s information management systems. The $70 million contract with Brillient is part of a $310 million 2023 budget allocation to the IRS aimed at improving the digital services offered to civilian users.
