The European Data Protection Board adopted guidelines on the right of access under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and a response to queries regarding consistent interpretation of cookie consent across member states. EDPB Chair Andrea Jelinek said the guidelines will "provide examples to support controllers to answer access requests in a GDPR compliant manner." In its letter on cookie consent, the EDPB noted a commitment to "ensuring the harmonised application" of rules on cookie consent while pointing to the boards cookie taskforce and updated consent guidelines.
