France's data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, will begin a consultation toward "updating and creating new standards" for health data processing. The CNIL hopes to obtain feedback from stakeholders involved in health care research or data processing "to identify and prioritize areas of work for the CNIL in order to promote innovation." The consultation will begin 16 May, with a webinar 21 May.
