France's data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, published a series of frequently asked questions about its amended guidelines and recommendations on cookies. The CNIL answers a variety of questions, including whether companies can refer to a user's browser settings as a method to gather consent and how a website can design "accept all" and "reject all" buttons.
