BBB National Programs’ National Advertising Division referred Quicken Loans to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission over Facebook and Instagram advertisements claiming “No Registration, No Log In,” MediaPost reports. The NAD said the claim misrepresents personal data collection as rates could only be viewed after consumers entered information, including credit scores and Zip codes. The National Advertising Division referred the mortgage lender to the FTC because it does not participate in its self-regulatory process.
