Ars Technica reports Amazon Sidewalk, a shared network initiative for Amazon devices set to roll out June 8, is raising privacy concerns. At launch, Sidewalk will automatically enroll devices, including Alexa, Echo and Ring products, into these networks unless users update their personal device settings. The sharing could potentially leave users' devices and information, such as cameras and browsing histories, open to nearby devices within a local Sidewalk network.
