In this edition of The Privacy Advisor Podcast, Abigail Dubiniecki, CIPM, discusses her experiences in privacy. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dubiniecki has lived all over the world, including in Kenya, Ukraine and, soon, the U.K. Through those experiences, she's been able to regard the various cultural differences in privacy expectations. She recalls, for example, how bizarre it seemed to the community in which she lived in Mali that she kept a diary. It just wasn't a part of the culture there. In this podcast, Dubiniecki discusses her work, her travels, and why having a sense of "empathy" has made her a better privacy pro.
