The European Data Protection Board adopted its opinion on the European Commission's draft adequacy for South Korea. The EDPB recognized similarities between the EU General Data Protection Regulation and South Korea's data protection frameworks, it also requested the Commission clarify "substantive and/or procedural requirements."
