Updating compliance processes to support generative artificial intelligence is still an evolving process for most privacy pros. And before we have had the chance to gain our artificial intelligence governance footing, an even more complex technology is already entering the arena: AI agents. The premise of reliable, autonomous and intelligent AI models that can slash boring administrative work and boost productivity has enterprise leaders chomping at the bit. As for privacy professionals? Many are biting their nails. In this panel, President of Transcend will moderate a conversation between Anaconda’s global head of privacy and a former senior policy advisor at the European Parliament who co-led EU AI Act negotiations. They will cover the unique (and often-overlooked) privacy and security risks of autonomous AI agents, how businesses should and should not be approaching these risks, and how they have found success with compliant AI agent adoption.

What you will learn:

  • Identifying the unique privacy and security risks of AI agents, and how they differ from other generative AI applications and products.
  • How current global privacy laws govern agentic technology, and governance frameworks to adopt agents with confidence.
  • Practical learnings from experience adopting compliant AI agents, how to assess risks for your organization, and assessing the benefit/risk tradeoff.
