Artificial intelligence is on everyone’s mind these days, but not everyone is thinking about AI issues the same way. AI developers are analyzing how they can best develop the technology while deployers are assessing how they can best leverage the technology to improve outcomes for their customers and other stakeholders. Lawyers (both in-house and outside counsel) are tasked with advising these companies how to accomplish their goals while also navigating an evolving regulatory landscape. At the same time, those in the government and in legislative capacities are evaluating how they can best promote the technology while also balancing for potential privacy, cybersecurity, and other consumer protection concerns. This panel will provide a holistic perspective on how these issues are being considered and addressed from a variety of perspectives.
What you will learn:
- Analyze how AI considerations vary depending on whether you are a developer or a deployer.
- Assess how different lawyers in the AI space advise on these issues depending on their role.
