Welcome, speakers

Thank you for contributing to the IAPP Europe Data Protection Congress 2025. To help ensure the success of your session, please see these important instructions.

Nils Fussen

Nils Fussen, programming and speaker specialist, will be your main contact at the IAPP during the event life cycle. Please reach out to Nils if you have any questions.

Conference venue: SQUARE – Brussels Meeting Centre, Glass Entrance, Rue Mont des Arts, B-1000 Brussels. Tel: +32 02.515.1300.

Speaker Registration: You will automatically be awarded a complimentary pass to the event and registered as a speaker by IAPP staff. Your conference pass is eligible for all programming and events happening on Wednesday and Thursday, 19-20 November. If you are speaking on a workshop, your pass will also include your workshop on 18 November. If you would like to add a training or workshop to your registration (additional cost), please contact speaker specialist Nils Fussen at nfussen@iapp.org.

Dietary accommodations: Options will be available for gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian diets. To let us know if you will be partaking in any of these options, request a kosher or halal meal, or indicate other dietary needs, please contact speaker coordinator Nils Fussen at nfussen@iapp.org by 18 October.

Speaker presentation template: All speakers using a presentation must download and use the IAPP Europe Data Protection Congress 2025 presentation template.

 

Important deadlines

Due now: Check the online agenda to see your session date and time.

Due now: Send us your headshot and a brief biography if we do not already have this on file.

24 September: Attend speaker orientation web conference. You will receive an invitation with additional details from Nils.

10 October: Deadline for initial planning call with co-panelists and agenda chair.

17 October: Send draft presentations to your agenda chair/speaker specialist.

7 November: Send final presentation to your agenda chair/speaker specialist.

Additional programming information
Need to make a change to speakers or presentation content? It is important to run it by us. Changes must be approved by IAPP to uphold the quality of our agenda and keep our publications current. Please contact Nils immediately if you need to make adjustments.

Speaker workroom

This space is just for speakers — your home away from home. Meet with your co-panelists, grab a coffee and a snack, or just work quietly if that is what you need.

The workroom is available during the following hours in Studio 311:
Wednesday, 19 November, 08:30-18:00
Thursday, 20 November, 08:30-17:30
