In an era where artificial intelligence is increasingly influencing business operations and decision-making processes, establishing a robust framework for AI governance has become essential. This panel will bring together leading experts from diverse sectors to discuss the implementation of responsible AI frameworks on a global scale. The session will provide valuable insights into the best practices for AI governance, focusing on material rules, governance structures, monitoring, and tooling and training programs. These practices need to be on a risk-based approach because AI systems vary widely in their applications, potential harms and societal impacts. Panelists will share their unique experiences to cover topics such as strategic approaches to developing AI governance frameworks tailored to a company’s needs; integrating privacy, AI and data governance into a single workflow driven approach; risk-based AI assessment implementation; and implementing AI trustworthiness through monitoring, tooling and continuous training. They will also discuss the formation of multidisciplinary teams and decision-making processes to ensure responsible AI use.

The primary goal of this panel is to equip delegates with a deeper understanding of global best practices in AI governance on a risk-based approach. By exploring diverse perspectives and real-world applications, participants will gain practical knowledge that can be applied to their own companies, fostering a culture of responsible AI use and compliance.

What you will learn:

  • Enhanced understanding of risk-based AI governance frameworks and their implementation, including information on risk flows and tooling, with concrete examples on how this was done in global companies. This includes best practice sharing.
  • Insights into the challenges and solutions in aligning AI practices with global privacy and ethical standards.
  • How to implement and run AI governance from a risk-based angle.
