Learn how to navigate the complex landscape of obtaining meaningful consent as artificial intelligence technologies transform data practices. This interactive workshop explores key considerations for acquiring consent across domains that are becoming frequent battlegrounds for businesses using AI, like privacy, health privacy and intellectual property. Participants will learn best practices from legal experts and gain hands-on experience in assessing and drafting consent forms and policies that address AI-specific challenges. Examples will include data scraping, algorithmic processing, data training and automated decision-making. Practice sessions will also cover revising sample consents and troubleshooting common pitfalls.
