AI governance is at a crossroad as we move from largely theoretical discussions of AI standards to tangible compliance obligations and a looming threat of regulatory enforcement. As legislators struggle to keep pace with the rapidly evolving technology, companies and regulators are faced with the challenge of navigating a complex web of pre-existing general laws and the introduction of new AI-specific legislation.

Panel members representing the private sector and key U.S. regulators will lead a discussion outlining the early days of AI enforcement. Attendees will learn how regulators are using pre-existing laws to enforce AI standards, understand how the enforcement landscape will change with the introduction of AI-specific laws, and obtain insights on how different regulators approach the AI enforcement process. Audience members will also have an opportunity to ask panel members follow-up questions throughout the panel discussions.

What you will learn:

  • How regulators are using pre-existing laws to enforce AI standards.
  • How the enforcement landscape is changing with the introduction of AI-specific laws.
  • How different regulators approach the AI enforcement process.
