Along with crafting an updated Personal Data Protection Bill, amending India’s IT Act 2000 may also be on the table, Money Control reports. Indian Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw said a new version of the PDP Bill is forthcoming. Vaishnaw said an amendment to the IT Act 2000, the Digital India Act, “is also in the works.”
