The European Parliament adopted new procedural rules related to EU General Data Protection Regulation enforcement. The proposed rules aim to harmonize data flows among EU member states by increasing their respective data protection authorities' level of cooperation, improve dispute resolution mechanisms, and synchronize procedural rules and rights. The measure will likely be further addressed by the incoming European Parliament following the EU-wide election in June.
