Software-as-a-service platform WireWheel announced it secured $10 million in a Series A funding round, according to a PRNewswire release. Bringing the total capital raised to date to $13 million, WireWheel will help innovate product capabilities, expand sales and marketing operations, and launch a partner program. WireWheel CEO Justin Antonipillai said, "Privacy protection is a key trust, customer, and compliance matter, and we're just scratching the surface of how powerful technology can be to help protect data privacy." Dayna Grayson of New Enterprise Associates and Michael Oleshansky of PSP Growth will join the company’s board of directors after leading the latest round of funding.
