The General Data Protection Regulation will come into force in May of 2018. The list of data governance issues to be tackled is large, with many new requirements for anyone doing business with EU citizens, like appointing a data protection officer. Given these new demands, the prerecorded web conference, "Ask the DPO, Preparing for the GDPR – March 2017" — the second in a series of web conferences being offered this year by the IAPP — includes insights from DPOs and privacy leaders who run some of the world’s leading privacy programs on how to prepare for the coming obligations. Tune in to this new episode with speaker Steve Wright of John Lewis Partnership, and hear perspectives on how pros are building their privacy teams and tackling the details outlined in the "Top 10 Operational Impacts of the GDPR," among others.
