U.S. Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., introduced the Digital Consumer Protection Commission Act to regulate Big Tech platforms, The Verge reports. The proposed agency would "be empowered to go after giant tech firms for a slew of anti-competitive behaviors and failing to protect consumer privacy." In a joint op-ed in The New York Times, Graham and Warren wrote the agency would "prevent online harm, promote free speech and competition, guard Americans' privacy and protect national security."
