U.S. Sens. Ed Markey, D-Mass., and Bill Cassidy, R-La., sent a letter to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stating if allegations the company collected personal data from users under age 13 are correct then it would show "callous disregard" for the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, MediaPost reports. Meanwhile, Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen announced the state is suing Meta over alleged data collection and children's privacy issues.
