The Strengthening American Cybersecurity Act would require companies in certain sectors to report potential hacks or ransomware attacks to the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. However, the bill does offer a provision that requires CISA to share reports on attacks with “relevant agencies,” which could include the FBI.
