Reuters reports U.S. Attorney General William Barr and Australian Minister for Home Affairs Peter Dutton have met to discuss a deal that would allow tech companies to share data from either country related to criminal activity. An agreement would enable police to expedite the collection of electronic evidence from the other country for criminal probes. The framework will resemble that of the sharing agreement recently struck by the U.S. and U.K.
